My Favorite Ice Creams...

First of all,.. I've always been mostly a Chocolate or Vanilla kind of guy.

My usual go to favorite ice cream when I go and buy a carton of ice cream to bring home is "Chocolate Chip".

But I don't like every makers version of Chocolate Chip. I don't like it when they put thick hard chunks of Chocolate in it. And I don't like it when they put small hard chunks of chocolate in it either.

My favorite version of chocolate chip is the chocolate shavings type. I like the one you can get at the store that use to be called "Thrifties",.. but is now called "Rite-Aid". And I think it's Dreyers Ice Cream also that makes a good version of chocolate shavings type Chocolate Chip Ice Cream.

I like Rocky Road Ice Cream sometimes. I didn't use to like nuts in my ice cream,.. but later on in life I became Ok with it.

Usually if I eat Vanilla Ice Cream I eat it with some kind of Chocolate over it or in it. Seems like the only time I ever ate Vanilla alone was because I didn't have anything that I could put in it or on it.

I like banana splits. A banana has always been like my favorite fruit to eat with ice cream.

Fruit Ice Creams have always been my least favorite... But,.. over the years I have found a few that I liked a lot. One of them was "Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream" that they sold at "Thrifties stores",.. and maybe still do over at "Rite-Aid" now.... And the other one is "Black Cherry Ice Cream" from "Rite-Aid" also.

Cookie dough ice cream sounded like something I might like back when it first came out... I was one of those kids that noticed how good raw cookie dough tasted back when my Mom would make cookies.

But when I tried it in Ice cream I didn't like it. I didn't like the cookie dough frozen.

I've had Oreo type Cookies and Cream Ice Cream a few times and liked it.

Oh,.. and I've also really liked "Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream" once in a while too. There again,.. it's the chocolate shavings version that I like,.. not the chocolate chunk type. And I think the only version of this ice cream that I've tried is from "Rite-Aid stores".

Some of the Ice Cream bar types that I remember liking are,.. Fudgecicles,.. Ice Cream Sandwiches,.. those Ice Cream cone type with the chocolate and nuts on top,.. and Snow Cones,.. but I only liked snow cones if they had lots of flavor in them. Some snow cones were like eating ice with a hint of flavor in them,.... and I didn't really like them when they were like that... And sometimes they were like rock hard too. And I didn't really like them when they were like that either.

I remember we use to have a fast food place here in Riverside called "Tastee Freeze",.. and they made a good soft serve ice cream cone. You could get it dipped in chocolate. And if you got to it right away before the chocolate hardened all the way,.. they were really good... But then when the chocolate got all hard and brittle I didn't like it as much anymore.

Over at Dairy Queen my favorite ice cream cone to get there was a soft serve vanilla ice cream cone dipped in chocolate sprinkles... The type of chocolate sprinkles they put on some donuts.

At Baskin Robbins 31 flavors I usually always think of going with banana splits first,... but they also make some good chocolate chip ice cream there too. The shaved chocolate chip version like I like.
